It’s our honour and privilege to care for so many wonderful children that choose to complete their early learning journey at Fitzroy Early Learning Centre, from babies right through to school age.
Since opening our doors in February 2020, we’ve had the joy of welcoming many children into our community and then watching them move on to begin their primary school adventures—a significant milestone for them, and a bittersweet moment for our teams and families alike.
We are often fortunate to receive heartwarming feedback from our wonderful families. These kind words mean so much to us, giving our teams the chance to reflect on and celebrate the positive impact they have in shaping the lives of the next generation.

As discussed a little while ago, we will be moving back to NZ late Jan. We have now confirmed our flights etc so we can confirm Joseph’s final day at Fitzroy ELC.
We would like to give notice for his final day to be Tuesday 21 Jan 2025.
We will be really sad to see Joseph leave as he has had such a great year at Fitzroy ELC both in babybeets and alfalfas – it’s been so great to see him so happy with all the staff and to be so loved. We just hope that his new daycare in NZ will live up to the standards you have set!!
Is there anything specific we need to do at this time to confirm or close things out?

Good morning,
This email is to advise that Archer W’s last day at the service will be 23/01/25.
We are moving to Preston in the new year and unfortunately the commute will be too long to keep Archie here at Fitzroy.
Our family has been a part of the FELC community from early 2021, so there is a sense of sadness with writing this email.
We cannot speak more highly of the staff and how much we love the centre. Our boys have thrived in your care and we couldn’t be more grateful for all the wonderful things that you all do.
Special shout out to Moizzin in Harvesters and Neema in Silverbeets. Our boys love you both and we are so glad they were both a part of their learning journey. They have both made them feel safe and welcome at the centre and we can’t thank them enough.

Good Afternoon,
I am writing today to give official notice of Mia A’s last day of enrolment at Fitzroy Early Learning Centre. I know you require 4 week’s notice but with the numerous public holidays coming up over Christmas, Boxing Day, New Year and Australia Day I wanted to let you know now so you have time to offer the place to someone else.
Mia’s last day will be Friday 25th January 2025.
Mia is leaving as she commences primary school the following week.
I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone at FELC that has been involved in Mia’s care and education. The educators in the rooms, the specialist teachers of the art and gardening programs, the chefs and of course the management team. Mia has loved her time at FELC and we have always felt very welcome and safe leaving Mia with you. She has grown into such a kind and bright young girl who is certainly ready for the next adventure in life and everyone at FELC has had a big part in that. Thank you
We of course will still be around as we have Ella moving into the 3 year old Kinder program. We look forward to continuing on at FELC with you.
