Fitzroy Early Learning Centre: Proudly Meeting the National Quality Standard Across All Areas
We are delighted to share that Fitzroy Early Learning Centre received a “Meeting” rating in all 7 quality areas of the National Quality Standard (NQS) following our Assessment and Rating in August 2022—a major milestone for our centre.
This achievement is particularly meaningful given that Fitzroy ELC opened its doors in February 2020, just before the COVID-19 pandemic began. Navigating the challenges of that time, our passionate team remained focused on delivering the highest standards of care and education. To have successfully met all 7 quality areas during such a complex period is a true testament to the dedication, resilience, and professionalism of our educators and leadership team.

This rating reflects the strong foundations we’ve built in just a few short years.
As part of our commitment to ongoing excellence, we are already working on our centre’s strengths to ensure we maintain our “Meeting” rating or even to achieve an “Exceeeding” rating during our next assessment cycle, expected in the coming year or two. Continuous improvement is woven into everything we do—from our educational programming and team development to our engagement with families and the broader community.
While the formal rating is an important measure, we believe the true quality of our service is experienced every day by the families and children in our care. We warmly invite you to explore:
